Solution Architecture is one of the most common architecture activities, and one that proportionally consumes the most energy and effort. This course will provide the skills and knowledge to develop an architecture of a solution.
Solution architecture is closely constrained by a specific problem or project. Solution architecture must balance between the imperatives of the enterprise architecture and the those of a project. In this course, you will learn how to look backwards to the enterprise architecture roadmap, patterns, standards and organizational objectives and look forwards to the implementation while providing architectural requirements, patterns and standards to the implementation team.
A solution architecture must balance between the needs of demonstrating alignment, realizing a strategy and providing the guidance and constraints necessary to design implementation teams. The key architectural elements and constraints for any design and implementation team need to be derived from this alignment.
Solution architecture guides design and implementation for completeness and accuracy of delivery to objectives. This course will teach you how to guide the execution of an enterprise architecture roadmap and define the solution components of the business case. You will learn how to align implementation projects to stakeholder needs.
You will learn how to initiate architectural change management and identify roadblocks to implementing the roadmap. In short, the course will teach you how to ensure that the right tasks are completed to enable the target to be achieved.
This course provides the skills and knowledge to develop a solution architecture, demonstrate its alignment and effectively communicate the architecture.
